The Moldovan parliament is considering the Draft law for the amendment of some normative acts, which was submitted on 2 December 2025 and contains various amendments. One of the key amendments provides for an increase in the VAT registration threshold from MDL 1.2 million to MDL 1.5 million. If approved, the increase will be effective from 1 January 2026.
