Moldovan initiative suggests allowing e-receipt issuance

The proposal suggests removing barriers to the use of virtual cash registers and electronic tax receipts (eBon) by allowing merchants to issue receipts to customers digitally.

Entrepreneurs will be able to issue their receipts through applications that can be installed on phones, tablets or computers. Through the application, tax receipts can automatically be sent to the customer via e-mail or SMS, and receipts can be printed upon request.
