Montenegro Ratifies Pending Tax Treaty with Liechtenstein

Montenegro published the law for the ratification of the pending income and capital tax treaty with Liechtenstein in the Official Gazette on 9 March 2026. The treaty, signed 25 September 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
