Morocco and Kenya Agree to Accelerate Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to a release from Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the first session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between Morocco and Kenya was held on 9 April 2026. During the session, officials from the two countries agreed to accelerate negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
