Nicaragua Extends Incentives for Generation of Renewable Energy

Nicaragua has extended the application deadline for new renewable energy projects that may benefit from the incentives introduced by Law 532 of 2005. The incentives for qualifying projects include:

• Exemption from income tax and alternative minimum tax for 7 years;
