On 18 July 2023, Oman's Consultative Assembly (lower house of the Council of Oman - parliament) approved the signing of an income and capital tax treaty with Kazakhstan. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
