Polish Parliament Approves Pending Social Security Agreement with Albania

On 22 July 2026, the Polish Senat (upper house of parliament) approved the Act for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Albania. This follows approval by the Polish Sejm (lower house) on 17 July 2026. The agreement, signed 24 February 2026, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the sixth month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
