The Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority has issued the Order of 5 January 2026, on new monthly withholding tax tables for income from employment and pensions for 2026. The tables take into account the revision of the personal income tax brackets/rates by the State Budget Law for 2026, which as previously reported, are as follows:

• up to EUR 8,342 - 12.50%
• over EUR 8,342 up to 12,587 - 15.70%
