Romania Enacts Budget Measures Including Extended Scope of 5% Reduced VAT Rate

Romania has published Law no. 13 of 8 January 2019 in the Official Gazette, which enacts, with some changes, the Government Ordinance of 9 October 2018 on various budget measures. One of the main tax-related changes is an extension of the 5% reduced VAT rate to:
