Romania Publishes Emergency Ordinance Transposing New EU VAT Rules for E-Commerce

Romania has published Emergency Ordinance No. 59 of 24 June 2021 in the Official Gazette, which provides for the transposition of the new EU VAT rules for e-commerce effective from 1 July 2021.
