Russia Clarifies Conditions for 0% Tax Rate for IT Companies

The Russian Ministry of Finance recently issued Guidance Letter No. 03-03-06/1/28535 of 29 March 2024, which clarifies the conditions for the application of the reduced corporate tax rate of 0% by IT companies using their own computer programs to provide services. The reduced rate is provided under the "ultra-low tax regime" for IT companies and was reduced from 3% to 0% during the period 2022 to 2024. Certain conditions were also relaxed.
