Russian Tax Code Amended for Taxation of Cryptocurrency Transactions

Russia has published Federal Law No 418-FZ of 29 November 2024 in the Official Gazette, which amends the Tax Code for the taxation of income from cryptocurrency transactions, including cryptocurrency mining and trading. The law is effective from 1 January 2025.
