According to a release from Serbia's Institute for Social Insurance published on 23 June 2023, the social security agreement with Azerbaijan entered into force on 1 June 2023. The agreement, signed 7 April 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries and generally applies from the date of its entry into force.
