According to a release from Moldova's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft decision on 10 December 2025 for the initiation of negotiations for a social security agreement with Quebec, Canada. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
