Slovak Republic Consulting on New Tax Treaty with Sri Lanka

The Slovak Republic has launched a public consultation on a new income tax treaty with Sri Lanka. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1978 tax treaty between Sri Lanka and the former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic as it applies in relations between the Slovak Republic and Sri Lanka. The deadline for comments is 31 March 2026.
