Sovereign Brazil Plan Launched to Protect Exports from U.S. Tariffs

The Brazilian Government has announced the launch of the Sovereign Brazil Plan to protect Brazilian exporters from the 50% U.S. tariffs on imports from Brazil approved by President Trump at the end of July 2025 (executive order). Key points of the plan include the following:
