According to a press briefing on Cabinet decisions taken on 24 November 2025, Sri Lanka's Cabinet has approved the signing of an amending protocol to the 2013 income and capital tax treaty with Luxembourg. The protocol will be the first to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
