Sri Lanka's Inland Revenue Department has issued Notice to Taxpayers on the implementation of new prosecution provisions under the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act, No. 11 of 2026. As previously reported, the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act, No. 11 of 2026 was certified (enacted) on 3 June 2026, making several changes to the Inland Revenue Act No. 24 of 2017.
