Swiss Federal Council Adopts Dispatch on Amendments to the Federal Law on Withholding Tax

The Swiss Federal Council has issued a release announcing its adoption of a dispatch on 14 April 2021 concerning amendments to the federal law on withholding tax. The reform aims to remove the withholding (anticipatory) tax on Swiss-source interest income that is meant to encourage the issuance from Switzerland of bonds previously issued from abroad.
