Swiss Federal Council Launches Consultation on Information Exchange Under Pillar 2 Global Minimum Tax

The Swiss Federal Council has announced the launch of a public consultation on a proposal to enable Switzerland's participation in the exchange of information for the purpose of the Pillar 2 Global Minimum Tax. As previously reported, the Federal Council brought the Pillar 2 QDMTT into force from 1 January 2024 and the IIR from 1 January 2025.
