Taiwan Confirms Application of New Tax Treaty (Renewed Agreement) with Singapore

Taiwan's Ministry of Finance has issued a notice confirming the application of the new income tax treaty (renewed agreement) with Singapore, which was signed on 31 December 2025 and entered into force on 13 February 2026. As previously reported, the agreement generally applies for Taiwan from 1 January 2027, replacing the 1981 agreement between the two jurisdictions.
