Tax reform – Parliament enacts new Tax Act

On 23 September 2010, the Parliament enacted the new Tax Act with a majority of 17 out of 19 possible votes. The most important changes are summarized below.

-		The introduction of a proportional tax on earnings at a tax rate of 12.5%.
-		The abolition of the distribution surcharge.
-
