The Australian Treasury has announced the signing of an income tax treaty with Croatia on 24 November 2025. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries.

The treaty covers Australian income tax, resource rent taxes, and fringe benefits tax. It covers Croatian profit tax, income tax, and any other surcharge levied on one of these taxes.
