According to a release from the Qatar News Agency, officials from Grenada and Qatar met on 18 August 2026 to discuss bilateral relations, including the negotiation and eventual signing of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
