Tax Treaty between Hong Kong and Laos to be Negotiated

Officials from Hong Kong and Laos met on 11 March 2026 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including upcoming negotiations for an income tax treaty scheduled to begin on 23 March 2026. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
