Tax Treaty between Hong Kong and the Slovak Republic Under Negotiation

According to recent reports, officials from Hong Kong and the Slovak Republic met on 18 March 2026 to discuss, among other things, progress in negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
