Tax Treaty between Mauritius and Rwanda has Entered into Force

According to a recent announcement by the Mauritius Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, the income tax treaty between Mauritius and Rwanda entered into force on 4 August 2014. The treaty applies retroactively in Mauritius from 1 July 2013, and in Rwanda from 1 January 2013.

An earlier tax treaty between the two countries signed in 2001 was terminated in June 2012.
