Tax Treaty between the Czech Republic and Oman to be Signed

During a meeting on 15 October 2025, the Czech government approved the signing of a new income tax treaty with Oman. Negotiations for the treaty were concluded in August 2023. The two sides previously concluded negotiations with the initialing of a tax treaty in 2012, but that treaty was not ultimately signed. Negotiations for the new treaty were concluded in May 2025, and the treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
