Taxation of dividends and registered private debt According to a proposal submitted to the parliament on 30 September 2005, the withholding tax rate on dividends distributed to both resident and non-resident shareholders will be set at 20%. (Currently, the rates are 15% for dividends paid to resident recipients and 25% for dividends distributed to non-resident shareholders.)
