Treaty between New Zealand and Australia – negotiations

The New Zealand government has invited public comment on matters to be raised in the forthcoming negotiations of a new tax treaty between New Zeelamd and Australia.

The first round of negotiations is expected to take place from 31 March to 4 April 2008, with further rounds later in the year. The negotiations will review all matters covered in the treaty. The deadline for public submissions is 22 March 2008. Comments should be sent to:
