Turkey and Uzbekistan Conclude First Round of Social Security Agreement Negotiations

According to a release from the Turkish Social Security Institution, officials from Turkey and Uzbekistan concluded the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement on 6 April 2026. The two sides also agreed to hold a second round of negotiations in Turkey to finalize the draft and the technical details for its implementation. Any resulting agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
