On 11 February 2024, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance announced via X (formerly Twitter) the signing of an income and capital tax treaty with Kuwait. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
