The Emirates News Agency has issued a release from the Ministry of Finance announcing the issuance of Cabinet Decision No. 142 of 2024, which provides for the Introduction of a Pillar 2 qualified domestic minimum top-up tax (QDMTT), the UAE DMTT. The UAE DMTT applies from 1 January 2025 and, according to the release, should be interpreted in line with the Commentary and Administrative Guidance issued by the OECD.
