The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced the country's commitment to implement the updated Common Reporting Standard (CRS) 2.0 starting 1 January 2027, with the first exchanges under CRS 2.0 starting in 2028. Among other things, CRS 2.0 includes the exchange of information on crypto assets.
