U.S. IRS Publishes Draft Update of Publication 901 on U.S. Tax Treaties

The U.S. IRS has published an early release draft update of Publication 901 on U.S. Tax Treaties, which is dated 9 September 2024. Publication 901 provides guidance for taxpayers on whether a tax treaty between the United States and a particular country offers a reduced rate of, or possibly a complete exemption from, U.S. income tax for residents of that particular country.
