Update - Aruba Confirms Income Tax, Ground Tax, and Turnover Tax Changes for 2019

Aruba's government has confirmed changes in income tax and ground tax in releases issued on 4 January and 9 January 2019, respectively. The ground tax brackets and rates are as previously reported, while the progressive income tax is presented as just four main brackets:

• up to AWG 33,587 – 14%
• over AWG 33,587 up to 63,369– 25%
• over AWG 63,369 up to 141,783- 42%
• over AWG 141,783 – 52%

The deductible tax allowance is increased from AWG 20,455 to AWG 27,751 as compared to 2018.
