Update - Italy Extends Suspension of Sugar Tax and Reduces VAT Rate on Art, Antiques, and Collectibles

Italy has published Decree-Law No. 95 of 30 June 2025 in the Official Gazette. As previously reported, the Decree-Law was approved by the Italian Council of Ministers on 20 June 2025, providing a further suspension of the effective date of the sugar tax on sweetened non-alcoholic beverages, which has been suspended multiple times.
