Update - Tax Treaty between Kyrgyzstan and the UK has Entered into Force

According to an update published by UK HMRC on 21 April 2023, the income and capital tax treaty between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom entered into force on 17 March 2023. The treaty, signed 13 June 2017, is the first of its kind between the two countries. Note that HMRC previously stated that the treaty had entered into force on 8 April 2022, although a subsequent update confirmed this was in error and the treaty had not yet entered into force.
