Update - Turkey Confirms Signing of Tax Treaty with Tanzania

Turkey's Revenue Administration issued a release on 11 May 2026 confirming the recent signing of an income tax treaty with Zambia, bringing the total number of tax treaties signed by Turkey to 107. As previously reported, the tax treaty was signed on 4 May 2026 during the first joint commission meeting between Tanzania and Turkey. It is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
