Uruguay Parliament Considering Bill to Ratify BEPS MLI

The Uruguayan parliament is considering a bill submitted 4 June 2018 for the ratification of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI), which Uruguay signed on 7 June 2017. After the bill is approved, Uruguay must deposit its ratification instrument to bring the MLI into force for its covered agreements (tax treaties).
