Uruguay Senate Approves Pending Social Security Agreement with Russia

According to an update from the Parliament of Uruguay, the Senate approved (sanctioned) the draft law for the approval of the pending social security agreement with Russia on 7 April 2026. The agreement, signed 22 September 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the second month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
