Uzbekistan Introducing Procedure for Property Tax on Taxpayers Otherwise Exempt

Uzbekistan's Ministry of Finance has announced a draft law for the implementation of a proposed property tax measure approved by Presidential Decree No. PP-73 of 30 December 2021, which also approves various other measures for the 2022 State Budget. The property tax measure is for the introduction of a procedure for the collection of one percent of the amount of property tax and land tax calculated for legal entity taxpayers that are otherwise exempted from paying these taxes.
